Our story begins in the beautiful New Zealand countryside, where our farmers raise cattle and sheep in optimal pastoral conditions. Livestock are free to roam the stunning landscape of the North and South Island, grazing on the fertile green pastures as they please. This stress-free environment is what makes our meat taste so good–naturally tender and packed with flavour.
Combine this with our temperate climate, clean water, and pure air and you have an ideal environment for raising healthy and contented livestock, naturally fed and free to grow in their own time, just as nature intended.
When the time is right our animals arrive at our processing facility and are immediately checked by independent Government veterinarians to verify the health of the animals. Post-mortem inspections are also carried out by a government appointed authority. Our state-of-the-art plant is designed to handle every step of the process with precision and care. From the moment they arrive, our skilled team ensures that each stage meets rigorous animal welfare standards.
Quality is at the core of everything we do. A thorough internal audit verification programme and independent quality checks in place at every processing area ensure each piece of meat maintains its exceptional taste and freshness from processing all the way to packaging.
Once processed, our meat is expertly packaged and prepared for export. Rigid packing controls means our beef and lamb is safe from contamination throughout the whole process and our export procedures are designed to keep our products in top condition. We maintain strict temperature controlled environments during storage, transport and delivery to ensure our meat arrives at its destination in the same condition it was in when it left our facility, guaranteeing the excellence that Taylor Preston is known for.
